What Commander Position you want: Either EOD Commander or Major
Why you want to be Commander:
I would like to be a commander for a few reasons. Number one being, that I see a flaw in this community. A great, deep flaw. And that is responsibility; so far I have noticed while coming on the server that most commanders are 12vies, retards and shitheads (no offence to anyone lmao), and I see this as a major problem. To fix this, we have to change our nomativity. That being said, I believe that an experienced commander should fill the role of one of the bomb squad groups, and that should be none other than myself. You may think I am biased and am in favour of myself. You are absolutely incorrect. You see, I have studied many servers in my past and done some extracting (if you know what I mean) to get the details. The details are quite blatant. The thesis remains clear and it states that, "Star Wars servers consisting of derogatory commanders and staff tend to have 58% decrease in maximum player base from day one". It's quite true to say the least, and if you look at the bigger servers, you can see that their commanders ain't that unexperienced. I would also be able to handle a regiment with discipline and with hardship to improve their listening/leadership skills as they take on the initiatives to improve themselves. I would have set strict guidelines, "no fucking around or get fucked", a quote by me, used on many other servers I was commander on. Lastly, I believe I have the diligence and authoritarian perspective to look after a group of troopers, in order to get them ready and set for action. It would be part of my duty to ensure the best of my troopers, however, even with all this seriousness, I will fortify fun for my troopers and a little bit of leisure time. This isn't a fucking US Army Corps; at the end of the day, it's a Gmod Star Wars Server created for the enjoyment of all players.
Short Description of yourself: [at least 50 words+]
I am a 17 year old genius, BK a.k.a 'The Map God', and I can undoubtedly say I am the finest dude out there on this server. I have a keen interest with G-Mod; have played it for almost 3000 hours. I was that keen, that I began to map for servers such as this one itself, and what can I say.. They are pretty huge successes. My maps in total have led me to a total revenue of around $1300.50 which is pretty darn good. You guys can judge by the maps that I have an extensive swrp knowledge, and I have great experience in leading regiments (Led some on my own servers). I also love to code and create scripts with my variety of coding languages, ranging from glua to python (pretty complex programming languages). I have been a developer on many enlarging servers such as Cryogenic Servers, Poseidon Servers, Nova Networks and a minor developer for many others. Overall, I can be a bit crazy sometime, however this craziness defines me as a person, and I ensure you that I can be lovable af.
Scenarios:
1. There are 5 CT's on and they all are waiting to be in a Regiment. What do you do?
There would be a few things I would consider before taking action. I would send one of my committed troopers to observe the CT's. By observing, I mean checking out if they are mingers/rdmers/jokers etc. If I find them to be of that kind, I would ignore them for our best interests. On the other hand though, if I find that they are genuinely dedicated to the server, I may get an admin's permission to hold tryouts, or if I have already done my tryouts for the day, I would set up a training session for all troopers.
2. As a Commander, what role do you take on the battle field?
As a commander, my role is to lead the troopers. By leading, I don't meaning watching them as they go out into the battlefield sacrificing their meticulous lives. I mean, joining them, as a team, as a group, helping them to complete a mission while ensuring that all my troops stay safe and all civilians stay unharmed. It would be my duty to direct troopers to their duty, rather than forcefully commanding them, as I believe that is not a necessity. However, if the circumstances appear, I will order my troopers and safeguard our allies to secure a successful mission.
3. A Trooper in your Regiment is a constant truancy and verbally abuses people as well as abusing their weapons. What would you do as the COMMANDER of the Regiment?:
I believe every trooper should get one warning. If they continue to do this, a simple kick out of my regiment is sufficient. However, if they're just fucked in the head, I may call on an admin to patch things up.
4. What Makes a Good Commander?:
I believe there are three main characteristics of a great commander. A good commander knows his troopers and they know him. If he gives an order, they know that it is the best action to be taken because of who gave the order. The trooper does not have to doubt or even understand. A good commander adapts quickly during battle. He knows his terrain and uses it effectively. He keeps in contact with his troopers so he can rapidly adjust and improvise when needed. A good commander is a free thinker more often than not. Know the tried and true methods, but always remain open to something revolutionary. He adapt and quickly implements new ideas.
5. Can you reach our recommended time per day? [1 Hour/day]:
I believe so. 1+ hour(s) per day.
6. How mature can you be with a Leadership Role?:
As I have said. I am 17 and am greatly mature. Sometimes I may act out of action for good reasons, however those minor mistakes will not undermine my leadership role.
7. How high are your Tryout Building Skills?:
I have many tryout dupes from previous servers. My building skills are exceptional, and most of em can be seen in the maps I create.
8. How hard would you make your Tryouts? [Depending on your Regiment]:
10 being the highest, and since EOD is not a significant regiment, my tryouts would be around the 6.5-7 out of 10 level of difficulty.
